Suspect turns self in, confesses to Laredo's first homicide of 2013

Forty-one-year-old Lauro Valdez walked into the Laredo Police Department and turned himself in shortly after eight Thursday morning.

Police say he confessed to the murder of 30-year-old Manuel Rodriguez.

KGNS News was the only media outlet on the scene when the incident happened on January 26th on Puig Drive.

Also injured in the incident, 24 year old Ricardo Trejo.
