It's a new act just signed into legislation by President Obama involving the abuse of synthetic drugs.
Here in Laredo authorities have already seized what they call drugs with possibly even more dangerous side effects than street narcotics.
They were never illegal before but recently the way people have been using these substances has caught national attention, moreover, the results of their actions has many in the law enforcement community concerned.
