The trial of a man accused of sexual assault continued today at the Webb County Justice Center. The trial of 36 year old Jesus Hernandez Escudero was expected to end yesterday.
But today the state called more witnesses to the stand. Yesterday the twelve year old victim in the case described what happened to her back in April of 2011.
Escudero is accused of going into the girls room and sexually assaulting her while her family members were all home. She told friends at school about the assault and a teacher called police.
Escudero faces one count of aggravated sexual assault.
