A 66-year-old woman is recovering from cuts to her arms after police say a 20-year-old physically abused her.
Police arrested Karina Martinez just after 10pm Thursday night in the 3,000 block of Reynolds for allegedly hitting the elderly woman.
The woman told police that she was being hit violently by the suspect.
Authorities say the victim suffered several cuts to her arms and had lots of blood when they arrived.
Martinez now faces one count of injury to the elderly.
