A man is arrested for DWI, but what had police disturbed was that he was driving around with his unconscious kids in the car.
Heriberto Rivera, 21, was pulled over at the corner of Bustamante and Meadow after an officer noticed he was swerving.
The officer noticed he was intoxicated and that he had two unconscious boys in the backseat.
The boys, ages one and three, were not responsive so the officer called paramedics who were also unable to wake up the boys.
They were taken to the hospital.
Rivera was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 and possession of synthetic marijuana.
The children were turned over to their mother.
The case is being investigated by child protective services.
