A man accused of crashing his vehicle and leaving the scene has now been formally charged. Police say he was driving drunk with young children in the vehicle and will face several charges.
The accident happened yesterday evening at the intersection of Loring and Marion where an SUV rolled over after being crashed into.
The suspect vehicle fled the scene. Police say the driver accused of causing the crash is 35 year old Daniel Cardoz.
Authorities say children were in his vehicle at the time of the crash. Cardoz now faces one count of DWI with a child under 15 years old in the vehicle. Two counts of endangering a child and was also be cited for failing to stop and render aid. no one was seriously injured.
