Police have identified a young woman found dead in a Central Laredo neighborhood last night. It's our top story tonight at ten.
The victim has been described as a 16 year old female. Police tell us her next of kin have been notified but they are not releasing her identity at this time.
The victim was discovered yesterday by a woman and her daughter driving by the 15 hundred block of San Pedro.
They noticed the victim was sitting on the ground but not moving. When they went back to check on her they found the victim to be dead. Police say the victim had multiple tattoos and at the time of her discovery was barefoot and wearing denim shorts and a sports bra.
Police say the investigation is on-going and are awaiting for a cause of death from the medical examiner.
