The driver behind the wheel of last night's accident on i-35 who died in a San Antonio hospital has now been identified.
Police have identified her as 85-year-old Pauline Graham, of Schulenberg, Texas, a town between Houston and San Antonio.
First responders were called out the accident on I-35 near the Laredo city limits around 9:30 Monday night where the 85-year-old woman's car had hit a sidewall and plummeted off the highway and onto the road 17 feet below.
Authorities say she was driving north in the southbound lanes of the highway.
She was transported to a San Antonio hospital where she died.
