Three Die in Car Accident

A tragic accident claims the life of at least three people yesterday.
We're told two of those victims are from Laredo.
It's our top story at ten.
The accident involved three vehicles.
It happened on Highway 83 near the Starr and Zapata County line Friday afternoon.
According to D.P.S. the driver of a GMC Envoy drove off the roadway and overcorrected causing it to invade the southbound lane.
This action resulted in the collision with a Chevrolet Silverado.
A Ford F-150 struck the rear side of the GMC Envoy.
The idententies of the victims were revealed earlier today. They are:
33 year old Jesus Alfredo Ruiz Cruz from McAllen, who was driving the GMC Envoy.
30 year old Sergio Arellano from Laredo driver of the Chevrolet Silverado.
27 year old Edith Martinez Ledezma also from Laredo she was the passenger of the Chevrolet Silverado.
The driver of the Ford F-150 is reportedly not injured.
