Drink, Drive, Go to Jail: TxDot's New Program Decal

The Texas Department of Transportation is getting ready to start a new campaign aimed at preventing accidents caused by drunk drivers. The message: Drink, Drive, Go to Jail. Officials have chosen a brand new decal to go along with their slogan of "Choose Your Ride". They say the 2009 Labor Day campaign will run from August 21st until September 7th. The Laredo Police Department will be receiving 20 thousand dollars in impaired driving mobilization grant money to be used beginning October 1st. A formal announcement of the campaign will be made in Austin a little later this month.
