LISD Board changes mind over raises

LISD employees got the news they were hoping for at Monday night’s budget workshop. LISD board members reconsidered pay raises for what the district considers “maxed out” para-professionals. They agreed to give 419 para professionals their raises. In addition to those raises, the board also approved moving back the pay date to the 20th of every month beginning in September.
