Burger Joint Brawl Lands 3 in Jail

A Laredo woman and two men are facing assault charges after being involved in a fight inside of a local burger joint. 35-year-old Michael Cantu and 22-year old Jessica Marie Romero were arrested for being involved in a fight that took place at a What-a-Burger located on Highway 359. The incident took place just before 4 a.m. this morning. Officers say alcohol was involved. A third suspect, 33-year-old David Tamez was also arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury. No patrons were hurt in that altercation.
