Cuellar holds town hall in McAllen, Laredo scheduled for Thursday

By Ray Gomez

As the healthcare reform debate continues around the country, one local leader is now meeting with constituents in person in a series of town hall meetings.
Congressman Henry Cuellar met a feisty crowd in a McAllen town hall meeting yesterday and he's scheduled to do the same in Laredo.
During the town hall meeting in McAllen, one person asked Cuellar if he would promise to drop his Congressional health insurance and pick up the new public option plan.
Here’s a look at how that went...
Cuellar will be in Laredo on Thursday for a town hall meeting at TAMIU.
Doors open at 11:30 in the Student Center Ballroom.
The discussion will start at 12:30.

KGNS, you know that many employers in Laredo will not allow their employees to participate in Henry's "Town Hall" meeting. It's going to be the same "Dog and Pony Show" at TAMIU. People must voice their concerns regarding the ambigious healthcare plan or other issues without fear of being retaliated.against.

Back home with the Mexicans in Laredo. Now he can lie all he wants and the Laredo Mexicans will believe him. This guy would never get elected in a "clean" election. This meeting will probably be in his native Mexican tongue also.Stay away from the white people Henry, you don't fool them.Come to Laredo now and promixe all of your illegal voters that they will get in on the free healthcare also, like the Mexicans get everything else free in Laredo.Tell them how you will go beg for them in Washington.
