Last night we brought you the story of two abandoned horses in El Cenizo in devastating inhumane conditions.
A viewer's call tipped us to the location where our cameras found one of the horses fighting for its life.
Our Concetta Callahan contacted the Webb County Sheriff''s Department, and an El Cenizo Commissioner for help after seeing the horses' condition.
A veterinarian would later analyze the condition of the two horses severely suffering from animal cruelty.

El Cenizo is deplorable even for the people who live there. Sure, all your bills are paid (rent included) for 300USD, but there is more garbage on the streets, and vacant lots/dumping grounds that I wonder how people aren't discovered dead in those lots. Laredo, should definately help El Cenizo out by improving the living conditions of all residents who live there.

Actually, it should be the homestead owners who should be RESPONSIBLE for their own property and trash. Many of those residents are just dirty, do not care about their living conditions & are used to living around junk and trash. Residents NEED to start thinking differently and care more about their own cleanliness and improve their own living environment. All they need to do is CLEAN AFTER THEMSELVES.

I love and care for my horses. Hope the person or persons responsible for the condition of those horses are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Why let the horses die? They could have given them to ME. I would have feed, cleaned and nursed those horses back to health. Prosecute the offenders, fine them and have them serve jail time.
