Suspect Leads PD on Chase, Flees to Mexico

By Cynthia Cano

A suspect leads police on a chase down the streets of downtown Laredo, ending at Bridge number 2. Officers say they received a call about a suspect who was thought to be selling controlled substances from his vehicle. When police reported to the scene, the man took off. Police chased him down Riverhill towards Bridge 2. That's where he abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot. He did manage to bypass Border Patrol and successfully make his way into Mexico. Officers say no accidents, injuries, or damage resulted from that incident. It is still under investigation.

PD was on a VEHICLE CHASE. I doubt the donuts had anything to do with it. PD should be allowed to use the pit technique. Chase OVER.

Have you seen PD officers? Lay off the donuts, already!!!!! The majority are in dire need of a diet. Very, but very few, adhere to any type of physical activity, which will help them in this situation ):
