New law makes "maquinita" raids easier
New legislation will make it easier and cheaper for law enforcement agencies to raid eight liner businesses.
According to the new legislation it will allow agencies to store only a small part of the eight-liner machine.
Before law enforcement had to confiscate every single machine in the establishment.
Now they are able to remove and store just the computer chips from the machines.
The bill should help law enforcement save thousands of dollars in storage and transportation fees.
