The district attorney's office has made an arrest in a recent case of animal cruelty involving two horses in El Cenizo.
49-year-old Graciela Gonzalez was arrested last night after the Webb county sheriff's department brought more evidence in the case.
Gonzalez is charged with having severely neglected her two horses in El Cenizo.
Several weeks ago neighbors had been attempting to care for the horses but notified authorities when they saw that their condition had deteriorated.
A local vet, doctor Sandra Leyendecker was force to euthanize one of the horses due to its severe poor state.
The surviving horse is in the sheriff department's custody.
Gonzalez’s bond was set at five thousand dollars.

I just read that she is the mother of the worthless scum who beat a little girl to death and dumped her body near the lake a few years ago. Both she and her husband were found guilty of failure to report child abuse. They should be thrown in jail with their murderous son.

SHE doesn't look malnourished. They should make her share her food allowance with animals at the shelter.
