The district attorney is giving a few details on the death of a two-year-old Laredo girl.
It has been more than a week now since the girl was found dead inside a cabinet outside her home.
And police have still not released any information in the case.
District attorney Chilo Alan's says they are working closely with the police department and they are being careful conducting the case.
According to Alaniz they are going through scientific and forensic evidence collected at the girls home.
They have already sent forensic evidence to San Antonio.
Police are still not commenting on what happened and they are not releasing any information on the case.
Isidro "Chilo" Alaniz, district attorney, "In a situation of a murder like this scientific and forensic evidence play a big part in building of the case and bringing charges and unfortunately it takes some time."
Also the D.A. says they are looking at several suspects but are waiting for the results from the forensic tests.
It can take a while for those to come back.

I just hope our cracked LPD doesn't blow this case and goes unsolved like Dr Keene's death and Hector X Gutierrez murder.

I wonder why they don't want to release any information on how she died to the public. We should take it to Fox news , CNN or Americas Most Wanted!

This a horrible crime. Why is it taking so long for this case to be investiagted. These people are out free, even if the criminals are minors. The need to be put behind bars or killed. This a ashame that this would happen to a child. If it were the DA's child I bet they would hurry. Pretty frustrating.

I have come to a conclusion... "it's under investigation, we can't talk about it = we are incompetent and can't find the culprit" they've used it in the Keene death, and now here.

The parent(s) or guardians of the child should be arrested for negligence. Where were the parents? If they were working, who was responsible for the safety of this child? The person who told 'private' should have advised the authorities about what they know. Someone knows exactly what occurred. There is always someone who knows exactly what occurred.

I heard the same thing about the minors. Not sure if true but whoever did it will sure get the death penalty. And hopefully the big boys in prison will teach them a lesson they will be begging for the death penalty tomorrow. This is so frustrating.
