Bobby Santos' contract extended until 2011

The UISD board of trustees has elected to extend superintendent Bobby Santos contract.

After a review of the superintendent, trustees agreed to extend his contract until June 30th of 2011.

Bobby Santos' annual salary is currently $194-thousand but an increase has not been discussed at this time.

The board also announced that Ronnie Cantu would be the new director of public relations.
