Alarm alerts fire crews to burning home

A house alarm goes off in the middle of the night alerting authorities that say they arrived to find it on fire.
This is the damage left behind at a house in the 10-thousand 2-hundred block of Chimayo.
Fire officials say fortunately no one was living at the home.
Despite the house sustaining some damage, firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to nearby homes.
It’s not clear what may have started the fire.
No injuries were reported.
