One week later Sheriff's office still not clear on Hopson death

By Ray Gomez

It’s been a week since the body of Helen Richter Hopson was found inside her car and the Webb County Sheriff's Department is not releasing any information at this point.
Investigators say they need another two to three weeks to gather more information and to determine what happened to Hopson.
There is still no cause of death but officials with the Sheriff's Department say they are conducting a homicide investigation.
According to reports, deputies responded to a call at a ranch after workers there reported a vehicle inside the property.
The ranch is located a few miles east of I-35 on Highway 44.

May God help the family at this most trying time. A young beautiful woman is gone either by the cruel hands of someone or by self infliction. Whatever the case, the public should be informed inorder to help our own children deal with their demons or those who want to harm them. Prayers go out to the family.
