Another case that continues to be investigated is the death of a two year old that happened almost three weeks ago. Police say they are waiting for DNA results taken from the autopsy of Katherine Cardenas. The DNA results had been sent to a lab in San Antonio and investigators from the Laredo Police Department say they are expecting them any day now. In the meantime the Webb County medical examiner will not release the cause of death of the little girl although it has been ruled a homicide. Police say they have no official suspect in the murder.
