BP Agent Busted: Driving Drunk Down Wrong Way

By Cynthia Cano

Police say a Border Patrol agent is arrested for driving while intoxicated early this morning. This happened after a call came in of someone driving the wrong way on I-35. Police say they received a call of reckless driving at around 7 this morning, when--according to a witness--the driver of a Dodge pickup was headed north bound in the south bound lane of I-35. Officers later caught up with 30 year old Nathan Guadalupe Trejo at the intersection of McPherson and Tiara. Police say he refused a breathalizer and was taken to the Webb County Jail. A spokesperson for Border Patrol did confirm that an agent had been arrested early this morning, and are investigating the incident.
