By Ray Gomez

A Krispy Kreme employee is arrested for exposing himself to a child while on the job.

It happened on Wednesday at the Krispy Kreme in the 6600 block of San Dario.

Police say a 13-year-old girl looked into the kitchen area to see how the donuts are prepared, that’s when police say 55-year-old Mauricio Pedraza, Jr. allegedly pulled his apron to the side and exposed himself.

Pedraza was arrested and is being held at the Webb County Jail.

He is charged with indecency with a child through exposure.

Many parents often fail to inform about health conditions until it is often a situation of this kind. Health services personnel have been accused of harrassment only because they contact the parent to report on any ailment the student may be experiencing. In many cases, parents refuse to pick up the child and state that unless the child has fever, the child will not be picked up. Parents forget that it is their responsibility to provide medication information and how often it is used.
