Breaking News: Former Webb County Clerk Henry Flores pleads guilty to charges of soliciting a minor

By Ray Gomez

We have the latest from the courts in the case against former Webb county clerk Henry Flores and a surprise move by the defense today.
Henry Flores went before judge Joe Lopez in the 49th district court and pleaded guilty on the felony count of solicitation of a minor with intent to commit aggravated sexual assault.
The state agreed to drop the second charge of display of harmful material and is recommending that Flores serve eight years in prison.
But he will not be sentenced until November 16.
We caught up with the 60 year old who for-a-change had little to say.
"I don't have any comment but you have to understand the situation how I'm feeling at the moment and so I really can't put words together in English or Spanish. How is it that you're feeling? I'm feeling like I have made a very serious decision." Flores told Pro 8 News.
Today's guilty plea from Flores came against the advice of his defense attorney George Garcia.
