Bold thieves steal laptops right from their displays

The Laredo Police Department is looking for four very bold thieves.

Surveillance video taken on October 29th from the Wal-Mart on Loop 20 catches the act.

It shows four people with a child enter the store; two of them make their way to laptop section in the electronics department.

There, the man actually takes a laptop from the display and stashes it away in a jacket. The woman acts as a lookout.

They then proceed to steal a second computer, hidden in a red blanket.

According to police, the four people regroup, make a purchase and leave the store with the hidden computers.

You do not have to show anyone a receipt at wal-mart unless you want to. They only try to intimidate you. they don't check the receipt against the bag you have. Years ago the HEB on Sanders asked me for my receipt on a cart full of stuff. I told them we would due a 100% inventory check and they said never mind.

I walkout with a small bag of PURCHASED items and they stop me and ask for a receipt, these people walk out with laptops and no one stopped them...WalMart double standards. They deserve to get ripped off.
