Absences on the rise and temperatures drop in Nuevo Laredo

The cold is keeping more and more students in Nuevo Laredo home from school.

Officials say close to 60% of students have been absent this week.

As long as temperatures stay low, the districts will tolerate the absences. They may even suspend classes if conditions get worse.
