City leaders hope Paisanos spend their money here in Laredo

By KGNS News

City officials also addressed the issue of traffic congestion expected this upcoming weekend.

As most already know, traffic on downtown streets will be heavy with the over 100,000 vehicles expected to pass through Laredo in the days leading up to Christmas.

City leaders hope the people in those vehicles will take advantage of Laredo’s shopping and eating opportunities.

“We hear a lot from the other merchants around the community about how much they need the business and how much they hope folks come in here. Then we have the other side that says they just cause traffic, so the city's been working hard to balance the local population's need as well as the transient need that’s coming in.”

Over 500,000 vehicles passed through Laredo last December.

After paying for the tow, they aint got much left over for shopping. Also the no insurance tow, Im thinking of purchasing a brand new Silverado, but not in Laredo. And a state of the art sound system for my Tow truck, so I wont have to listen to the "customers",complaining about the high cost of the tow.By the way I could write a book with fifteen chapters on this subject. I also do repos.I am Gary Tow Man #1.
