Laredo may be the largest city without a bookstore
The Associated Press has reported that Laredo could soon be the largest city without a bookstore in the United States.
This after B.Dalton announced they will close their doors sometime in January.
When B Dalton closes the nearest book store will be 150 miles away in San Antonio.
According to the associated press the closing will create a literary void in a city with a high illiteracy rate.
The head librarian at the Laredo Public Library agrees that Laredo needs a bookstore.
