Synthetic ice rink a big hit

The cool temperatures today felt just right for some kids out enjoying time on the ice.
It may not be the real thing and it took a little while to get the hang of it, but kids liked it either way.
This year's winter wonderland features a $16,000 sythetic ice rink for kids to test thier skating skills on.
Plently of food and other activities were also provided for the kids as part of all the activities.
The event will continue today until 10 tonight at the UISD Student Activity Complex on Loop 20 and 359.
It's free and open to the public.
