2 arrested for allegedly burglarizing vehicle

By KGNS News

Police arrest two suspects burglarizing a vehicle.
22-year-old Lazaro Villarreal and 17-year-old Jose Armando Renteria are facing charges of theft and evading arrest.
The duo was allegedly caught in the process of breaking into a vehicle at the 13 hundred block of Stewart.
A witness saw the act and called police giving information while it was in progress.
The suspects then took off on foot walking towards Plum and Hendricks.
When officers arrived the suspects ran away and were eventually caught and arrested by officers.
The suspects had tools that had been stolen from the vehicle.
Renteria has been in trouble with the law before including an aggravated robbery back in 2008.

We have two more volunteers for the Rio Grande Carrizo pulling operation. LPD, keep bringing those thieves to jail and we'll put them to work.

A water park would do diddly squat. Its not like water park was going to be open in the wee hours of the morning. What we need to do is make these criminals do hard labor around the city as their punishment.
