Reports say Arrow Trucking based in Tulsa, Oklahoma unexpectedly shut down, leaving around 1,400 drivers without a job.
Arrow trucking has a station in Laredo. No trucks, no personnel, nothing, just an empty space.
Just three days before Christmas, Arrow Trucking told their drivers where to leave their trucks in the nearest arrow station without any answers.
Drivers were confused not knowing what just happened.

I remember when Consolidated Freighways also shut down in similar fashion. It always hurts when one loses it's income. Not too mention days before Christmas. Arrow should never be allowed to work in America again.

Correction my dear friend Watson we SHOULD HAVE let the banks go under. Instead we gave them all that bail out money which by the way they used portions of that money to give themselves million dollar bonuses. I for one would like to know why we were not given a chance to vote on these bailout deals.

In this "System", the rich are SUPPOSED TO get richer, regardless of who gets affected. Just look at the local Mexican traffic and buyers. Who cares if the native Laredoan can't get 1 certain item at a local store, as long as someone from Mexico can buy 100's of them, that's okay. We're boosting our economy. Why are we recruiting more and more and more buyers from Monterrey when our stores can't even handle our local traffic; in the stores and on the streets?

When we had the false economic boom nobody complained. The "poor" people of Laredo have enough money to buy and traffic dangeriys dogs all the time, Ironically some are people in our welfare system. Laredo has a "pobrecito" mentality and not a "I can Do it" attitude.

Many people in Laredo refuse to progress in life and live off the government for almost their whole lives. But the problem is the government needs to put a limit on the amount of time they can receive assistance (with the exception to the elderly and really disabled) for those people who are young, healthy, and very capable of working. And they need to be better at investigating their applicants/clients. And taking fraud reports seriously. Starting with our local housing authority.

People taking advantage of the welfare system are all over the country, not just Laredo. All Guilty, "dangeriys" dogs are not trafficed only in Laredo either. Anonymous, I agree, the government should put a limit on the amount of time they receive assistance and monitor the ones that put a Laredo address, which actually live in Nuevo Laredo.
