The juvenile being held in the murder case of two year old Katherine Cardenas could be in court in a few weeks. It’s been months since authorities named a 16 year old boy as the person allegedly responsible for the horrible death of the two year old baby girl.
Since then the case has been back and forth in hearings.
According to the Webb County Attorney, Ana Laura Cavazos, the hearing for the boy to be certified as an adult should have been heard back on December 12th. But that didn't happen as the defense asked for another mental evaluation on the juvenile.
Cavazos says that is the hold up, since they say there is no doctor in Laredo that can do the evaluation. According to Cavazos, they are hoping to hear the case in court in mid January.
Meanwhile, the 16 year old is still in custody.

Okay, you have the 16 year old sicko incarcerated, but what about the mother??? Why isn't she in a cell next to him awaiting her court date???? Oh thats right, she is too busy whoring around while living off taxpayer's money and the goverment's welfare, medicaid, food stamps!!!

What about the mother? Why isn't she paying the consequences of her acts as well? I betr she is still receiving her government checks and living as if nothing has changed.

The reason that this is happening is because the law is not the "system" that it was meant to be originally.

Just watch Gangland, a MS-13 individual WAS arrested here in Laredo. So obviouly we DO have some large gang affiliations within our populace. "Baby G's" are often used to commit such crimes to gain "street credit".

this case seems like a cold case i dont see nothing being done against this monster. no matter his age he should be treated like an adult. there is no excuse for what he have done and still no measures arent taken. that is the reason why people at really young age start commiting crimes because they see that nothing is done against them due to there age.

Someone has seriously let this one go under the rug. Its taking too long for this monster( and i dont care how old he is) to get what he deserves.
