Tips on how to protect your house from the freezing cold

Many are getting ready for the cold temperatures by protecting their plants and even their exposed pipes.

Around Laredo you could see people already covering their plants with either blankets or plastic bags to prevent the plants from dying or freezing.

Others have been covering their pipes that are exposed from the ground.
