N.B.C. has confirmed that Jay Leno's stint in prime-time television has come to an end. Representatives with N.B.C. say that Leno's last prime-time show will continue to air up until the beginning of the Winter Olympics on February 12th. N.B.C. Chairman Jeff Gaspin says he wants Leno to go back to his old time slot, and says he wants Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon's shows to shift back a half-hour. Though it's not a done deal, Gaspin says he hopes to have N.B.C.'s late night line-up cleared by the beginning of the Olympics.

In my opinion I think Conan is way funnier than Jay, but everyone has their own opinion when it comes to comedy. I think Jay should quit while he's ahead and let someone else take over for a change.

i'm glad to see the change, Conan is an idiot who thinks he is funny. I always turned the tv off when he came on. I always thought it was a bad idea to put him in that time slot. True Jay Leno needs to go ahead and retire but he's a heck of alot better to watch than that idiotic red head.

I totally agree with Jay no-no, Leno's jokes turn me off. He's really gotten pervy with all his sexual innuendos that are FAR from funny. That's why I didn't follow him to his prime-time slot. And it had nothing to do with the hour.

I dunno about you all but I'm a little fed up with jay leno..I thought his late night show ended, besides I don't think he's funny anymore he should step down from NBC and go to fox or something to give conan a chance to be the next king of late night
