Vincente Fox On Border Violence: Both sides share fault

By KGNS News

Former President of Mexico Vicente Fox recently visited Laredo to talk about many things.

Among them, border violence and he says both the U.S. and Mexico can work together to solve the problem, but he also says Mexico is taking the wrong approach.

“United States, reducing the consumer market. United States, reducing the flow of arms into Mexico, and Mexico fighting the criminals.”

Former President of Mexico Vicente Fox says there's many things that can be done to stop bloodshed along the border, but the one action he says should not be taken is exactly what Mexican officials have continued to do.

On Saturday, the Mexican government sent almost 900 soldiers to Tijuana to man checkpoints and set up anonymous complaint centers for residents.

Something Fox says shouldn't be happening at all.

Sounds like little bickering brothers, HE did it 1st! no he did! Like Mex doesn't have drug addicts running around, they rather make it legal an not get blamed then be the root of the problem, I mean Fox is 50% correct but it takes 2 to tango..its not like were alone in this war! If they had better men working in Mx then the drugs wouldn't pass through mex they could pass another way into the USA then Mx can say anything they want! We beat Mx before we can repeat it again!Mexico act ur age!

Who is he trying to kid, the drug trafficking buisiness is very, very lucrative and profitable for both the traffickers as well as for the government on both sides of the border. If not they would go all out to stop it.
