The trial against an alleged Zeta continues in federal court.
Two investigators took the stand Tuesday, saying 24-year-old Armando Garcia was involved in a double murder back in April of 2006.
The U.S. government has an extensive line of witnesses for this case including three alleged Zeta members, Gabriel Cardona, Rosalio Reta, and Raul Jasso, Jr.
According to the U.S. Attorney, all three worked with Garcia in the double murder and in other violent acts across the border and in Laredo.
Garcia's attorney, Roberto Balli, told jurors in his opening statements that all of the witnesses the government have would say his client never participated in any murder or violent act.
Fifteen-year-old Mariano Resendez and his uncle, Jesus Maria Resendez, were killed in a shooting on Zapata Highway.
