Members of the community open used bookstore

By KGNS News

On the heels of the closure of the B. Dalton bookstore here in Laredo, another one has opened.

The Laredo Center for the Arts will open its LC4A shop today, a small, used bookstore right next to their main building.

The once art-souvenir shop was converted through donations of books from the general public.

The plan is to offer up those books at a bargain price, as an alternative to leaving town for purchases.

The LC4A shop will be open Tuesday through Sunday from eleven to four.

They are always looking for book donations or volunteers to help run the store.

You can contact them at 725-1715.
