61 public transit workers test positive for drugs

Sixty-one public transit bus drivers in Nuevo Laredo have tested positive for drugs.
The department of public transportation recently made each driver take a drug test.
The test came after riders complained about aggressive driving with little regard for pedestrians.
The Nuevo Laredo department of public transportation is now asking bus patrons to file a report if they witness or have witnessed any driver violations.
There's no word on what will happen to the drivers that tested positive for drug use.

And when has the first officer been tested under the new contract? Why did it need to be negotiated? City and county workers are required to take these tests to drive. Cops carry guns.

They need to test all police and firefighters here. The City management wanted to do that a couple of years back when they testyed every city employee with a CDL license; however, the police and fire unions protested. Imagine that, the very people that are supposed to be above reproach didn't want to be tested. You decide if there is a problem here.
