A man turns himself over to authorities after allegedly sexually abusing a nine year old girl.
49-year-old Eduardo Padilla is facing three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor by forcible rape and one count of indecency with a child by contact.
After four months of investigation the special investigations unit was able to make the arrest.
After turning himself in, he was transported to the Webb County Jail under a 750 thousand dollar bond.

He did not do this the girl was using my sister for the money and toys i was always with him he never did that i was a witness checkng and i was always at the living room playing and i had my volume low so i could of heard and his birthday was on may 7th me and his family were wait and when i heard the bad news he turned himself in i had started crying he culdnt take it he wanted to be at peace so now i dont have my dad and i cant take it im only eleven years old

It looks like in this justice system the wrong people always get screwed...we are guilty till we are proven innocent. I don't beleive this could be done by him, but we live in a world that you are never done knowing someone. You can never be too sure who you leave your kids with. And in all of this, I know for a fact that this little girl accusing Eddie of these things was with Eddie and his kids all the time. Can I ask where her parents were? I am a parent myself, and I don't let my daughter go with her friends knowing that their dad is a divorced or single dad. I don't even let her go or spend the night at my brothers...not that I don't trust my family, but to avoid these accusations and problems! I heard her father is a deputy, if that is true, shame on you!! you should know better and you should be charged as well, maybe not for rape, but for negligance..who knows what the truth is, but she's just a kid and doesn't understand that she ended his life, if this is a lie!!!

What I truly don't understand is in all of this.. Where the hell were the parents? It is so easy to get caught up in everyday life and neglect your kids. That is why you shouldn't let them go spend the night at other people's houses no matter how trustworthy they are. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON THE GIRL'S PARENTS......
