Hit and run suspect hosptalized after leading police on high-speed chase

By KGNS News

A local man leads police on a high-speed chase after allegedly rampaging through town, and lands himself in the hospital.

It all began with a hit and run accident that happened early this morning on McPherson and Shiloh.

That's where the driver of a white Mustang fled the scene.

Police later spotted the vehicle and tried to pull him over.

But the suspect fled, leading police on a high-speed chase down McPherson, I-35, and then onto San Bernardo.

That's where the driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a police unit, but the story doesn't end there.

He actually tried to strike a second police unit that was on the scene.

All before he hit a light pole on the corner of San Bernardo and Bruni.

The driver did sustain injuries and is being treated at Doctors Hospital.

Officers will book and detain him upon his release.

Luckily, no one else was hurt in that incident.

On the 5 p.m. news, you spoke about an article in the Mex.Constitution on "Illegal Immigrants" and that the Mex.Consulate declined to comment. Why didn't you repeat it on the 6 or 10 p.m. news. Are you being kept quiet as reporters? This is an important issue.
