Chase Leads To Seperate Arrests

By KGNS News

Two people are arrested after a hit and run accident turns into a high speed chase with police.

The accident happened at the corner of Shiloh and McPherson yesterday morning.

Officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident involving a white mustang which fled the scene.

They were able to locate the mustang on McPherson and Loop 20 driving with a flat tire.

The driver refused to stop.

During the pursuit the driver attempted twice to side swipe a police unit.

The chase came to an end when the driver hit a utility pole and then struck a building in the 23 hundred block of San Bernardo.

18-year-old Jesus Ramiro Anguiano Jr. was arrested.

He is facing charges of evading arrest and two counts of aggravated assault on a public servant.

During the chase a black pick-up truck driven by 18-year-old Jose Roberto Barbosa was following to closely behind the officers.

Officers found out he was Anguiano's cousin.

He was charged with interference with duties of a public servant and evading arrest.

I know my cousin would help me out in most situations. But he wouldn't get involved in a chase.
