A three-vehicle crash on I-35 involving a tour bus and a UPS truck sends two-dozen passengers to the hospital.
A spokesperson for the passenger bus, TuriMex, alleges they were not at fault. In fact they believe the UPS driver is to blame.
The director of legal affairs, Jose Manuel Valdez, says a total of 26 passengers were on the bus. All but two, including the driver suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital.

If only those I-35 weight scales were to be open, like they supposed to be...not closed like always, these type of accidents could be prevented! who inspects these people?

I know for a fact that those commercial/city/local trucks especially UPS trucks are computerized and they cannot exceed 70 miles per hour. I believe that the bus driver after trying to get back on the highway did not pick up speed on the shoulder as he should have thus causing the impact from behind. I also believe that the UPS driver was on a daze and did not properly estimate how close and slow the bus was traveling and collided from behind. I don't thinkthe UPS driver is to blame. Bottom line, I hope and pray that the innocent people injured recover soon and are not traumatized by this tragic accident.
