Hundreds of people have been in and out of 11 new Laredo homes this weekend for this year's Parade of Homes. Organizers say the turnout has been better this year than last. The brand new homes are each built with unique features that include energy saving appliances, insulation and beautiful open concepts. Many people say they're taking advantage of plenty of incentives. "They're ready to buy. More banks and mortgage companies are trying to be a little easier to try and get people into their homes," says Yolanda Sciaraffa, of the LBA Board of Directors. The Parade of Homes continues through 7 p.m. this evening.

There is no such thing as a free ride anymore. All these houses are overpriced and probably on flood zones declared by FEMA. just like the new homes built by Armadillo on shiloh and Loop 20. All these houses are being built on Flood Zones. The zoning Department and The "engineers know about it an they still give building permits.
