Laredo police returned to a west Laredo home where a man allegedly threatened to kill officers. Fully equipped with high powered weapons, police were on the scene on the 2300 block of Madison St. That's where, earlier in the week, they got a call of a man with a handgun who police say later turned out to be the brother of a woman living there. At the time, according to reports, one of at least three victims said there was a verbal altercation when he allegedly turned a gun on them, claiming if police were called, he would get into a shootout with them. The suspect fled the scene; and police say there were reports of his return to the home today. They were allowed to search and they recovered some military bags and even bullet proof vests. Now, at some point, a helicopter was even out searching for the man. A representative for the police department tells us they will not release the man's name because there is still no warrant for his arrest; but they have told us that he could be charged with assault and two counts of aggravated assault.

Guess they didn't catch him the first night, even with help from the DPS chopper.
