Fishermen warned of armed robberies at Falcon Lake

The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an advisory to boaters on Falcon Lake.

According to Zapata County authorities there have been several armed and attempted armed robberies on Falcon Lake.

There have been three incidents reported since April 30th.

"Worst case scenario is somebody being robbed, trying to resist and getting killed."

The robbers are believed to be members of a drug trafficking organization who are heavily armed.
