A Mexican Mafia member who has been on trial this week for a shooting, has been found not guilty.
The jury took less than five hours to come back with a unanimous decision.
Jaime Tomas Hernandez-Rocha was accused of shooting a man inside his car in broad daylight.
He was facing one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Yesterday a witness from Bexar County explained the results of the lab test on gun residue on Rocha’s hand.
The witness says they were not able to conclude that Rocha discharged the firearm but explained that there is a possibility that the residue could have been washed off.
