Webb County says they will continue to wait for the city of Laredo to hold up their end of the deal before moving forward with a Veterans Museum.
After Commissioners’ Court voted to approve the implementation of a veteran's museum, it was up to the city to submit a new version of the contract for the museum with any changes or amendments that may need to take place.
Today at Commissioners Court, Webb County Attorneys say they continue to wait for a response on the issue from the city.
With a dedication ceremony set for tomorrow, County Commissioners were discouraged they hadn't heard back from the city in time.
But the county is optimistic with the return of the city manager from Washington D.C. the issue will be addressed soon.

Most Laredoans will not use this museum, how about using that money to fix our water lines, upkeep our roads and tear down buildings that are unsafe as well as keeping our kids safe while at the park or what-have you.
