Man quotes Bible verses, tries to stab cop

A man is behind bars after allegedly assaulting two police officers with a knife.
According to police, 34-year-old Jason Gonzalez parked his SUV in the middle of the street at the intersection of Saunders and Lexington.
Police say they were in the area trying to break the flow of traffic from Sunday night cruising.
When they approached Gonzalez he started yelling out religious verses, and holding up a bible.
He then took out a knife and allegedly threatened an officer.
There was a struggle and Gonzalez tried to stab the officer but failed because the officer was wearing his bulletproof vest.
Another officer tried to take the knife away from Gonzalez and in the process he was cut on one of his fingers.
Eventually officers were able to hold him down and arrest him.
Police say they found evidence of cocaine use on the passenger seat of the SUV. Gonzalez is now facing three counts of aggravated assault on a public servant.
