Troops headed to the border

By KGNS News

More National Guard troops are headed to the border to help boost security, and keep the drug violence from spilling over.
The new plan for border protection calls for 12-hundred troops to be sent to the U.S.-Mexico border, and 500-million dollars for border protection, as well as law enforcement activities.
According to the Associated Press, the National Guard troops will work on intelligence, surveillance, and support efforts to block drug trafficking.
The troops will supplement Border Patrol agents until Customs and Border Protection can recruit and train additional officers and agents to serve on the border.
Laredo Congressman, Henry Cuellar, says it's a win-win situation for our border area.
Arizona Republicans have been urging such a move, but say 12-hundred troops is not enough. They're calling for 6-thousand.

Cuellar will probably want to take the credit for the troops coming to the border, When we all know it is because now there is pressure on the KING to stop illegals. Henry always uses the term "win-win" he is a looser-looser.
